In thirty years of history, Pietra Cava has traveled many roads and accepted many challenges, until 2004 when it dedicated itself entirely to the processing of grapes for must. Together with and thanks to the oenologist and the experience gained over the years by his grandfather and father, Antonino Ortoleva, a young graduate in medical biotechnology, has been able to identify a different habitat, by type of vineyard, within the same company. In fact, there can be differences in the various plots of land and therefore you may choose to grow one quality rather than another. Antonino deals with innovation, leaving the laboratory to turn knowledge into know-how.
PietraCava is located in Butera, Sicily, where the organoleptic composition of the soil and the climate enhance the produce created by nature.
