Grape varieties such as grillo, nero d'avola, inzolia... Characterize sicilian wine culture and over the years Pietra Cava has sought to preserve and enhance the flavors, fragrances and sensations that the raw material has given it. The company, in fact, rises on a territory rich in calcareous soils and has been able to exploit this organoleptic composition for the production of its wines. Over the years there have been many findings of hollow stones, which were brought to light for the planting of vineyards: hence, the name PietraCava.
The names of our wines draw inspiration from the history of the territory, the one of Butera, where the vineyards are located. For example Manaar is a name coming from arabic and means "guiding light".
